An update for autofs is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The autofs utility controls the operation of the automount daemon. The
daemon automatically mounts file systems when in use and unmounts them when
they are not busy.

Bug Fix(es) and Enhancement(s):

• automount program crashes with "malloc(): invalid next size (unsorted)"

(BZ#1847762)

• autofs share doesn't mount when using nobind over RDMA where nfs-server

and nfs-client are the same systems. (BZ#1858586)

• automount force unlink option (-F) does not work as expected on

autofs-5.0.7-109.el7 (BZ#1885511)

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
