Topic

An updated podman package that fixes two bugs is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.

Description

The podman tool manages pods, container images, and containers. It is part of the libpod library, which is for applications that use container pods.

This update fixes two bugs:

  • podman segfault upon doing buildah operations due to error handling message (#1853326)
  • podman launches a container with systemd instance inside - bind mounts of systemd cgroup entries are being leaked in host mount namespace (#1860506)

Users of podman are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes two bugs.
