An updated rhel-system-roles package that fixes several bugs is now available for the Extras Channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The rhel-system-roles package includes a collection of Ansible roles and modules that provide a stable and consistent configuration interface for managing multiple versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

This update fixes the following bugs:

• typo in selinux/tests/tests_selinux_disabled.yml: Invalid options for assert: mgs(BZ#1651285)
• kdump tests_ssh.yml on RHEL8 image: Unable to restart service kdump: Job for kdump.service failed because the control process exited with error code. (BZ#1651342)
• The selinux role: Ansible linux system role for selinux should list all variables in defaults/main.yml. (BZ#1674000)
• The network role rebased to latest upstream verison, which includes VLAN fixes and improved treatment of absent profiles. (BZ#1686866)
• Check mode problems in rhel-system-roles. (BZ#1716689)

Users of rhel-system-roles are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes these bugs.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.
