Updated haproxy packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements are
now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The haproxy packages provide a reliable, high-performance network load balancer
for TCP and HTTP-based applications.

The haproxy packages have been upgraded to upstream version 1.5.4, which
provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version.

In addition, this update adds the following enhancement:

• The OPTIONS parameter has been added to the /etc/sysconfig/haproxy file, which

allows the user to set extra options for the haproxy utility. (BZ#1166497)

Users of haproxy are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix
these bugs and add these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
