Updated ksh packages that fix several bugs are now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

KornShell (ksh) is a Unix shell developed by AT&T Bell Laboratories, which is
backward-compatible with the Bourne shell (Bash) and includes many features of
the C shell. The most recent version is KSH-93. KornShell complies with the
POSIX.2 standard (IEEE Std 1003.2-1992).

These updated ksh packages include numerous bug fixes. Space precludes
documenting all of these changes in this advisory. Users are directed to the Red
Hat Enterprise Linux 6.6 Technical Notes for information on the most significant

Users of ksh are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these
bugs.

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

• BZ - 1023109 - ksh stops on read when monitor mode is enabled
• BZ - 1075635 - ksh exit produces "Interrupt (core dumped)"

• BZ - 1112306 - ksh crashes because job locking mechanism does not survive compiler optimization
