RHEL9 Server is not Coming up after the patching.
Hi Community,
I am using the RHEL9 developer version. Last tried to patch the server and got an error "depmod: ERROR: failed to load symbols from /lib/modules/5.14.0-427.26.1.el9_4.x86_64/kernel/drivers/input/tablet/wacom_serial4.ko.xz: Exec format error" and the kept repeating and finally stopped, and it stuck on that screen. I waited about 30 minutes, and it never changed, so I had to do a hard reboot. When the system got rebooted, it started on rescue mode and got another message "You might want to save /run/initramfs/rdsosreport.txt to a USB stick or /boot". I tried to google it and couldn't figure it out. I tried to start with the previous kernel but got the same error, probably because prior to the patch, I ran the command "dnf remove --oldinstallonly" to free some space on the boot directory. That might have caused the issue, or maybe not. Now, on the boot screen, I can see two of the kernels and neither works; I mean, whatever I select, it goes to rescue mode.
Before the patch, I installed the ReaR package, took a full backup, and saved it to another system. When I had the above issue to run the iso file, I got an error "failed to load ldlinux.c32". I installed Iventoy and configured it with local network. I am stressed out and frustrated and unable to think straight. Can someone please help me out to fix the issue or recover it? I am attaching screenshots. The last screenshot is from Iventoy. I appreciate your help.
