Import host from 6.7 Satellite to a new 6.12 Satellite

I just took over an old project using an old 6.7 Satellite server to update the Linux host. So Instead of upgrading multiple versions, I installed an RHEL 8 and Satellite 6.12 server fresh. I am stuck as to the best method to import all of the hosts into the new server. I am looking for the fastest and best method to get all of the hosts into this new server so I can perform patches. Would a backup of the older 6.7 servers restore in the newer 6.12 server? Could I perform an export of the host CSV file and then perform import that CSV file into the new server?
