Unable to access BaseOS and AppStream repos

I'm working with RHEL 8 on VirtualBox 6.1.38. I had the RHEL 8 image attached to the RHEL machine and then mounted it successfully in /etc/fstab. I then attempted to open /mnt/BaseOS/Packages and /mnt/AppStream/Packages but I got the following error for each of them respectively: ls: cannot access '/mnt/BaseOS/Packages': No such file or directory and ls: cannot access 'mnt/AppStream/Packages': No such file or directory

What am I missing?
