2) I am try to remove sunray server from my system and replace it with VNC server. (RH 5.9 with Sunray Software)

3) I am also trying to find out how many connections can I have using VNC server... do I need a VNC server process for every connection ?

On our monitoring screens running raspbian I just run:

sudo apt-get install -y x11vnc xrdp
vncpasswd
x11vnc -forever &

You are then ready to RDP to Linux device from either windows or Linux.

Haven't tried equivalent on RHEL, but it should be good start for your research

it is also worth trying NX server - https://www.nomachine.com

There are native options also.

Investigate using XMing on your Windows desktops (free, but there are also paid alternatives) and 'ssh -X' to forward X Windows through your SSH session.

Also investigate XDMCP for full desktop experience (although it is not encrypted, so only use locally / over a VPN).

Depending on your systems' security configurations, you may need to do ssh -Y.

Also, with respect to XDMCP, if you want "full desktop experience", you can establish an SSH session to the remote system, then use XNest to push the whole desktop back through your encrypted tunnel.
