Prevent Kernel Upgrades

I'm using RHEL 7.7 and need to stay as such due to some interdependancies with some 3rd pary software. If I run yum update though it upgrades the kernal and i move to 7.9. I'm new to RHEL and wondering how to stop this? I only want to patch for kernel security advisories/bugs not the version.
