Is there a way to control the information in the CA ( ipa.csr) that IdM builds?

I am working with Red Hat's IdM for RHEL 8, ipa-server-4.9.2 and using the --external-ca argument as part of the install. This produces a very generic ipa.csr file.

Is there documentation on where/how to create or update the setup with a user supplied csr configuration file so that the install process actually creates a csr with appropriately managed information in it?
