virt-who changes hostname in satellite

I tried 2 different configurations, running virt-who from Satellite and from the rhv host (hypervisor) itself.

In both cases after virt-who uploads its report the hostname in Satellite changes:
virt-who-realhostname.domain.org-1

When I edit the host in Satellite back to its original hostname as it was registered with in Satellite with subscription-manager, virt-who changes it back, presumably when it updates with the next report.

How can I change this behavior? Preferably I would want the hostname to remain the original hostname and not change to virt-who-etc-1?
