  • How to check offset for ptp from non-privilege user

    Posted on

    Hi All,

i want to know how do we check the ptp offset value and status from a normal user (other than root).

I tried running the pmc command from normal user but it failed, although i had provided sudo access to that user on pmc command.

Tried googling but could find any significant help.

Can some experts help here, what is the way to check the ptp offset from a non-privilege user.

    % pmc -u -b 0 'GET CURRENT_DATA_SET'
pmc[5462026.817]: uds: bind failed: Permission denied
    pmc[5462026.817]: failed to open transport
    failed to create pmc
