Differences & level of JBoss Configuration required with different AMQs

I'm trying to understand the differences in some AMQ products and work out which best meet our needs - currently we're running RHEL 7.4 with JBoss EAP 7.0.8.

At the moment we are using both Apache ActiveMQ and also Apache ActiveMQ Artemis (we were previously using HornetQ).

  1. Which AMQ product provides the best functionality?

  2. In terms of the level of configuration required within JBoss which queue is the most suitable?

  3. Is it possible to get Enterprise level support with either AMQ or ActiveMQ Artemis, even though its an open source product?
