Decision Server xPaaS cannot scale to greater than two replicas

We are able to scale the Decision Server 6.3 image to 2 replicas, but anything greater causes the new replicas' pods to crash loop back off with the following errors:

"JBossAS process received KILL signal"
"Readiness probe failed"
"Liveness probe failed"

I can provide the full logs if necessary. Are there any special code changes that need to be made to scale to more than 2 replicas?
