virt-who errors

Latest response

Hi!

I'm seeing error logs on my RHEL7 VM relating to virt-who. I've already tried the steps in https://access.redhat.com/solutions/1443193, but nothing seems to be working.
Any suggestions?

Is your RHEL 7 VM registered with Satellite?

No, it isn't.

Too many open files suggests you might need to increase the nofile parameter in /etc/security/limits.conf.

I want to report the host-guest mappings to redhat website.According to the unsupported hypervisor solution, the contents of the virt-who configuration file /etc/virt-who.d/fake.conf are : type=fake ;file=/etc/virt-who.d/json/fake.json;is_hypervisor=Rrue;owner=7683452. 0.17 version of the virt-who can run properly ,but 0.19 version of virt-who has an error:AttributeError:No attribute 'owner' .The details are:thread-3 @virt.py:run :389 -Thread 'destination_4499800964655798746' fails with exception: AttributeError:No attribute 'owner'. I do not know why this happens.
