chromium-browser 45 shutdown issue

Today I upgraded to rhel 6.7 and I found that chromium-browser 45 leaves the profile "opened" and several processes running after the close.
I tried to delete and recreate the profile in .config/chromium and the .cache/chromium without success.
Downgrading to chromium-browser 44 "fixed" the issue.

Has anybody else found the same issue?
