3.6. Puppet エージェントのインストールおよび設定

以下の手順を使用して、ホストに Puppet エージェントをインストールして設定します。Puppet の詳細は、『 Puppet Guide 』を参照してください。

前提条件

  • ホストが Red Hat Satellite に登録されている。
  • ホストに Puppet 環境が割り当てられている。
  • Red Hat Satellite Tools 6.7 リポジトリーを Satellite Server で有効化して同期し、ホストで有効化しておく。

手順

  1. root ユーザーで、ホストにログインします。

  2. Puppet エージェントパッケージをインストールします。 

    # yum install puppet-agent

  3. 起動時に Puppet エージェントが起動するように設定します。

    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 の場合: 

      # chkconfig puppet on

    • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 の場合: 

      # systemctl enable puppet

  4. 以下のサーバーと環境の設定を /etc/puppetlabs/puppet/puppet.conf ファイルに追加します。ホストの所属先の Puppet 環境名にenvironment パラメーターを設定します。 

    environment = My_Example_Org_Library
server = satellite.example.com
ca_server = satellite.example.com

  5. ホスト上で Puppet エージェントを実行します。 

    # puppet agent -t
  6. Satellite Web UI で、インフラストラクチャー > Capsules に移動します。
  7. 必要な Capsule Server の アクション コラムの一覧から、証明書 を選択します。
  8. 必要なホストの右にある 署名 をクリックして、Puppet クライアントの SSL 証明書に署名します。

  9. puppet agent コマンドを再入力します。 

    # puppet agent -t
