  • Contact the appropriate hardware vendor for assistance with the the most recent software: including driver, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting support for Fusion-io products (ioDrive, ioMemory, and other related Western Digital/SanDisk hardware).
    • This includes the fio driver itself, along withfio-status, fio-pci-check and other related utilities and software.
    • Red Hat does not supply or ship the driver or any of the other utilities for Fusion-io hardware.

Direct all futher inquiries for driver, installation, configuration, and support issues to the current Fusion-io hardware vendor. Included on their website are a number of knowledge base articles, including how to rebuild the fio driver from scratch and other Fusion-io issues which may be appropriate:

A Linux kernel module, or device driver, for Fusion-io flash storage devices has not yet been provided under an Open Source license, such as the GPL, to enable Red Hat to distribute it with the Linux Kernel. Therefore, it must be obtained as a third-party driver from the vendor for use within Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Red Hat Enterprise OpenStack Platform.
