8.2. openCryptoki
The openCryptoki package has been updated to version 3.2. This update includes three main changes.
- Hardware enablement for the IBM® zSeries architecture.
- Hardware enablement for the IBM® Crypto Express4S (CEX4S) adapter.
- New modes of operation are now supported
- OFB (Output Feed Back mode) is a digital operation that turns a block cipher into a synchronous stream cipher.CFB (Cipher feedback mode) is an operation that makes a block cipher into a self-synchronizing stream cipherCBC-MAC (Cipher Block Chaining Message Authentication Code) for DES, TDES and AESSHA-2 based HMAC (Hash Message Authentication Code)Ability to sign and verify based on the SHA2 (hash algorithm) with an RSA signature
