Agent-Based Installer (ABI) hangs while installing in a disconnected environment

Solution Unverified - Updated -

Issue

  • When trying to install a Red Hat Openshift Container Platform (RHOCP) cluster in a fully disconnected environment using Agent-Based Installer (ABI) installation hangs forever
  • No error message is shown prior to the hang nor during the hang itself
  • No error messages are shown even when using the debug log level
  • When using debug log level ABI hangs at line showing quay.io mentions, like:

    $ ./openshift-install agent create image --dir . --log-level debug
