Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 installation is failing with "dracut-initqueue[xxx]: Warning: dhcp failed"
Issue
- Unable to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 on vSphere 4.1 or 5.1.
- Anaconda starts to boot up then hangs for a bit then comes back with:
dracut-initqueue[528]: dhcp failed
dracut-initqueue[528]: Warning: Could not boot.
dracut-initqueue[528]: Warning: /dev/root does not exist
Starting Dracut Emergency Shell...
Warning: /dev/root does not exist
- IP information is provided in boot parameter during installation.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0
