OCP4 install on OpenStack with Proxy error - API: Get api-myenv-mycluster:6443 - service unavailable

Issue

  • During Installation of OCP4.7 on OpenStack IPI configuration with Proxy setup (Loadbalancer omitted from proxy pathing) observe the following errors:
API: Get "<api-loadbalancer>:6443/version?timeout=32s": Service Unavailable

ERROR Attempted to gather ClusterOperator status after installation failure: listing ClusterOperator objects: Get "api-myenv-mycluster:6443:6443/apis/config.openshift.io/v1/clusteroperators": Service Unavailable
ERROR failed to lookup masters: resource not found
INFO Pulling debug logs from the bootstrap machine
INFO Bootstrap gather logs captured here "/home/stack/ocp-dev/log-bundle-<date>.tar.gz"
FATAL Bootstrap failed to complete: failed waiting for Kubernetes API: Get "https://api-myenv-mycluster:6443/version?timeout=32s": Service Unavailable
