kernel: qla2xxx: Unknown parameter `ql2xfailover'
Issue
- After a kernel upgrade there is no connection to the SAN over HBAs supported by Qlogic
-
With the upgraded kernel booted, we get this message:
WARNING: No module qla2xxx_conf found for kernel $KERNEL_VERSION, continuing anyway. Removed the Driver and then reinstalled and got the following message. WARNING: No module qla2xxx_conf found for kernel $KERNEL_VERSION, aborting. -
In order to get the system back and able to see SAN devices, reboot the old kernel and reinstall the driver package.
