Unable to upgrade/downgrade openssl package

Issue

  • Can't upgrade opensssl
  • When upgrading openssl I get the error, Multilib version problems found:

    Error:  Multilib version problems found. This often means that the root
       cause is something else and multilib version checking is just
       pointing out that there is a problem. Eg.:
    
    Only Upgrade available on package: openssl-1.0.1e-42.el6_7.2.x86_64
    
  • When performing a downgrade of openssl I get the following error

    # yum downgrade openssl-x.x.xe-x.elx_x.x86_64
    Loaded plugins: product-id, refresh-packagekit, rhnplugin, security,
              : subscription-manager
    This system is receiving updates from RHN Classic or RHN Satellite.
    Setting up Downgrade Process
    Only Upgrade available on package: openssl-x.x.xe-x.elx_x.x86_64
    Nothing to do
