Only subscriptions that were not purchased directly from Red Hat need to be activated before you can use them. Activation is not necessary for Subscriptions purchased directly from Red Hat. These subscriptions are activated automatically based on the start date determined when you purchased the subscription.

Users with a 16-character subscription activation number

To activate, use the Subscription Activation tool

The subscription activation number is a 16 character code, example: xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (dashes optional)

Users with a Dell Service Tag

For purchases made from Dell with a Dell Service Tag, activate using the Dell Service Tag activation tool

Activation complete

Once the subscription is activated, it will appear as active in your subscription inventory in Red Hat Subscription Management.

Still no phone number anywhere to contact Dell L3 RHEL support?! Please fix this!!!

redhat support over the phone said to contact Dell at 800-943-3355. When I spoke with them they said that the L3 redhat license to call redhat since there's no pro support for that server. We are about to renew our RHEL licenses but I'm now questioning renewing because of this for thousands of dollars and just getting a blame game response on who to call.

i did that it says that my system is already activated but when i launch subscription-manager status +-------------------------------------------+ System Status Details +-------------------------------------------+ Overall Status: Invalid

kindly let us know, if customer has purchased L3 SKU with third party( Like HP, IBM, Dell etc..), How can he open the L3 tickets with Redhat ? What is the processor to open the L3 ticket with Redhat ?
