Issue

  • Fail to start GUI after installing the "Server with GUI (graphical-server-environment)" package group. After rebooting a system, the initial setup will appear. This setup will not appear when doing same steps with RHEL7GA.

Step to reproduce:

1. Install a RHEL7.1 with minimal packages. (default setting)
2. After the installation, install GUI with:
    # yum groupinstall "Server with GUI"
    OR
    # yum groupinstall graphical-server-environment

3. Execute "systemctl set-default graphical.target".
    # systemctl set-default graphical.target

4. Reboot the system.

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.1
  • Non-English language environment
