NTP Configuration

Updated -

What It Does
The NTP (Network Time Protocol) configuration application helps you set up:

  • servers running the NTP service
  • clients synchronized with NTP servers

The app steps you through a wizard that helps you define your particular configuration. Then, it generates a configuration script.

What You Provide

  • For each client/server you configure, provide a server name from a higher stratum.
  • For cryptographic servers, this app also needs the symmetric key.

Optional Features
You can enable:

  • A historical log with ntpd (network time protocol daemon) behavior
  • Symmetric key cryptography
