NTP Configuration
What It Does
The NTP (Network Time Protocol) configuration application helps you set up:
- servers running the NTP service
- clients synchronized with NTP servers
The app steps you through a wizard that helps you define your particular configuration. Then, it generates a configuration script.
What You Provide
- For each client/server you configure, provide a server name from a higher stratum.
- For cryptographic servers, this app also needs the symmetric key.
Optional Features
You can enable:
- A historical log with ntpd (network time protocol daemon) behavior
- Symmetric key cryptography
