Windows と同期している NTP サーバーや、Windows NTP サーバーと同期する NTP を使用している RHEL サーバーで正しく時刻が取得できない原因について

Issue

NTP サービスを使用して、Windows 2003 Server (または Active Directory Server) が提供する Windows Time サービス、または独自の localclock (ntpq -np など) をタイムソースとして使用する NTP サーバーと同期するように設定しました。
しかし、NTP クライアントは同期して時間を正確に取得することができません。

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6

  • NTP サーバーが独自の localclock を参照 (ntpq の refid フィールドが .LOCL. または LOCAL) して、時刻が正確ではない場合

  • 別の ntpv3 サーバーを経由するか、Windows NTP サーバーから直接 Windows NTP サービスと同期している場合
