Issue

  • RHEL4 サーバーでネットワーク接続が頻繁に失われます。この問題が発生すると、以下のメッセージが以下のログファイルに記録されます。 
    NETDEV WATCHDOG: eth1: transmit timed out 
    tg3: eth1: transmit timed out, resetting 
    tg3: tg3_stop_block timed out, ofs=2c00 enable_bit=2 
    tg3: tg3_stop_block timed out, ofs=4800 enable_bit=2 
    tg3: eth1:Link is down.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 ( update 4 以降)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Broadcom NIC カード (tg3 ドライバー)
