What does "Waiting on Red Hat" mean?

In the online ticketing system at https://www.redhat.com/apps/support/ , the state formerly known as "Waiting on Technician" has been renamed to "Waiting on Red Hat." The meaning stays the same. An issue that is "Waiting on Red Hat" is waiting on a Red Hat associate for the next update. This renaming was enforced on July 17, 2006.

The status "Waiting on Customer" has remained the same. A ticket in a "Waiting on Customer" state is waiting on the end user to provide additional information on the case.
