Host controller authentication failure in JBoss EAP

Issue

  • Unable to connect the host-slave to the domain controller and throws the authentication error.

  • Authentication problems prevent domain slaves from starting when running EAP 6 in domain mode across different physical machines:

[Host Controller] 12:05:53,208 ERROR [org.jboss.as.host.controller] (Controller Boot Thread) JBAS010901: Could not connect to master. Aborting. Error was: java.lang.IllegalStateException: JBAS010942: Unable to connect due to authentication failure.
