  • On RHEL8, downgrade of linux-firmware from versions equal or higher to linux-firmware-20250626-131.gitb05fabcd.el8_10 to a lower versioned package fails

  • On RHEL9 beta, downgrade of linux-firmware from versions equal or higher to linux-firmware-20250604-153.el9 to a lower versioned package fails

  • On RHEL9.6, downgrade of linux-firmware from versions equal or higher to linux-firmware-20250604-151.2.el9_6
    to a lower versioned package fails

  • On RHEL10 beta, downgrade of nvidia-gpu-firmware from versions equal or higher to nvidia-gpu-firmware-20250521-16.el10 to a lower versioned package fails

  • On RHEL10.0, downgrade of nvidia-gpu-firmware from versions equal or higher to nvidia-gpu-firmware-20250521-15.4.el10_0 to a lower versioned package fails

The error messages are file /usr/lib/firmware/nvidia/ad103/gsp ... conflicts with file ....
The conflicting paths are /usr/lib/firmware/nvidia/ad103, /usr/lib/firmware/nvidia/ad104, /usr/lib/firmware/nvidia/ad106 and /usr/lib/firmware/nvidia/ad107.
