Issue
How to manage host metrics(managed nodes) in Ansible Automation Platform
Resolution
- Host metrics(managed nodes) are maintained automatically.
- Hosts with no updates for 12 months are treated as deleted(soft-delete), and hosts with no updates for 36 months are removed from the record(hard-delete). This period is hard-coded;
- If need to remove host in more shorter period of time, do it manually from the Controller dashboard with menthod below.
In AAP 2.4, we now have the 'Host Metrics' feature. You can utilize this feature to manipulate the 'Host Automated' data and bring the AAP to compliance mode.
