"DeploymentConfig is deprecated" warning is shown in OpenShift 4

Issue

  • When creating, applying or getting a DeploymentConfig, the following warning is shown, even if the resources are created/fetched:

    Warning: apps.openshift.io/v1 DeploymentConfig is deprecated in v4.14+, unavailable in v4.10000+

  • In the OpenShift Web Console, the following warning is being shown:

    DeploymentConfig is being deprecated with OpenShift 4.14
Feature development of DeploymentConfigs will be deprecated in OpenShift Container Platform 4.14.
