Failed to start chronyd service in RHEL8

Issue

  • chronyd service is failed with following error:

    Fatal error : Could not get user/group ID of Chrony
chronyd.service: Control process exited, code=exited status=1
chronyd.service: Failed with result 'exit-code'.
Failed to start NTP client/server
