Unable to receive the email when resetting the password in the Customer Portal

Environment

  • Red Hat Customer Portal

Issue

  • Customer asks for help to reset their password in the Red Hat Customer Portal, because they don’t receive the password reset email.

Resolution

  • Please note that when clicking on “Forgot Password” the password reset email is sent to the email address associated with the login ID.
  • Please check if the login ID is correct. If you don't recall your login ID, you can request the list of login IDs associated with your particular email address through our "Forgot your login?" feature on the Customer Portal login page.
  • In case the login ID is correct and you don’t receive the password reset email to your email address, check the Spam folder.
  • If you still don't receive the email, please ask your email administrators if they can allow emails from no-reply@redhat.com.
