Why do winbind users and groups not having the same ID on different systems ?
Issue
- winbind users and groups do not have the same ID on different systems
- I have multiple systems joined to AD domains. The UID/GID information is different on each system for the same user/group.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
- samba-winbind
