Issue

  • Iscsi target discovery fails with the following message.

    iscsiadm -m discovery -t sendtargets -p x.x.x.x 
iscsiadm: discovery login to x.x.x.x rejected: initiator failed authorization 
iscsiadm: Could not perform SendTargets discovery: iSCSI login failed due to authorization failure

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • ISCSI Target -- Windows 2008 Server
  • ISCSI Initiator -- Red Hat Enterprise Linux
