RHEL8.4 falls to maintenance mode due to device time out or takes a long time to boot up
Issue
- When a significant number of
LUNsare presented to the system, boot times may take much longer (30+ minutes) to complete, or the system may drop in maintenance mode whenVG-LV'sor filesystems reside onSAN LUNsthat are called byfstab. This may be exacerbated in the presence of partitioned devices.
