winbind is not mapping all users when using the idmap_rid backend
Issue
- When using the idmap_rid backend, user lookups for some users fails.
- Under the idmap_tdb backend, users lookups function for all users.
Environment
- /etc/samba/smb.conf is configured for the idmap_rid backend.
- samba or samba3x
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
