Does 'ifcfg-eth0.bak' file load at the boot time ?

When invesitgate files in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts directory, there is file named 'ifcfg-eth0.bak' .

The file has the option ' ONBOOT=yes'.

Does this file configuration activate at the boot time ?
