Yum install <package> is failing with an "Error:could not load PEM client certificate, OpenSSL error error:02001002:system library:fopen:No such file or directory"

Issue

• Yum install returns error "Curl error (58): Problem with the local SSL certificate"

• Unable to install any package from repositories.

• On a Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.x host registered to Red Hat Satellite 6.x, the error returned might be:

  - Curl error (58): Problem with the local SSL certificate for

  pass phrase, or wrong file format?)]

  Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml: All mirrors were tried.
