How to allow only one specific non-root user to bring up/down alias interface ?

Issue

  • After enable the USERCTL option in the network interface configuration file, it enables all non-root users to control this interface, and there is no more option to specify only the particular user/users to control that.
# cat ifcfg-eth0:1

DEVICE=eth0:1  
USERCTL=yes
USERCTL=<answer>  
where <answer>  is one of the following: 
yes — Non-root users are allowed to control this device. 
no — Non-root users are not allowed to control this device.
