Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table
Issue
- The issue is that even if the user accounts are present, we are sometimes seeing the following error message in the
/var/log/maillog:
550 5.1.1 <username@example.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table

The accounts for "example.com" are not stored in
/etc/passwdbut in a LDAP directory. -
How to avoid the below error messages?
