RHEL - How to disable GNOME software update notifications via CLI
Issue
- Notifications are displayed in the notification banner and sometimes on the lock screen whenever updated packages are available. However, in a corporate environment where RHEL systems are updated on a set schedule, these notifications are not relevant for users.
- How do you disable notifications via the CLI at a system level without storing these settings in user profiles?
