How to access tape device from rescue mode ?
Issue
- Modules to access tape drive are not loaded in rescue mode. How to access tape device in rescue mode ?
- Device files are not created for tape device in rescue mode. Tape drive works fine for backup when the system is not in rescue mode.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4/5
- HP DL160se Server having HP LTO4 tape drive connect to P212 controller
