Issue

  • nslcd can't support user/group name of less than 3 characters, error "nslcd_passwd_byname(<user>): invalid user name"
  • This issue is coming with 'nss-pam-ldapd-0.7.5-7' package. Same is working fine in older version 'nss-pam-ldapd-0.7.5-3'.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.1
  • nss-pam-ldapd
