A Pacemaker cluster node is in ONLINE status and tries to run resources after being fenced by fence_scsi or fence_mpath

Issue

  • A node has been fenced by fence_scsi (or another agent that provides unfencing) due to token loss. When it rejoins the cluster, its status appears as ONLINE, and it's eligible to host resources even though it hasn't been unfenced yet.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (with the High Availability Add-on)
