Apache httpd fails to start with "No space left on device" logged
Issue

Apache could not be started and failed with an error similar to one or more of the following:
[emerg] No space left on device: Couldn't create accept lock (/etc/http/logs/accept.lock.7578) [crit] No space left on device: mod_rewrite: could not create rewrite_log_lock Configuration Failed [emerg] No space left on device: Couldn't create accept lock [error] No space left on device: Cannot create SSLMutex Configuration Failed [crit] (28)No space left on device: mod_rewrite: Parent could not create RewriteLock file /etc/httpd/run/rhnccrewrite.lock -
httpd will not start and shows 'Configuration Failed'

httpd dies and could not be restarted by systemctl. While trying to start it failed with an error similar to one or more of the following:
